Withdrawing a bid? How to.
Auction ends soon, i placed a bid, but changed my mind and want to withdraw the bid. I have asked the seller and they said they were ok with it. What do i do?

·2 years agoThe seller cannot give you permission to withdraw a bid. Either you have one of the very few very specific valid reasons, or you don't ("changed my mind" is the latter). Either you are within the deadline (12 hours before the scheduled end or 1 hour after the bid, whichever is later, but no later than the actual end of the auction) or you are not. The seller can cancel your bid on his/her own up until the auction actually ends for just about any reason, including that you asked with or without a good reason, but is not required to do so, but has no say in whether you can or may retract. If the seller claims s/he can't/doesn't know how tell him/her to look in the "Sell" section of the Site Map that is linked in the footer or just about every ebay.com page.
