Wireless unit that is not legal to operate in the US
I recently purchased a Nady 950GS UHF wireless system in great condition, but upon arrival it operates in the 800mHz frequency band which is illegal in the US. This information was not disclosed in the item description and I was wondering if eBay can help me with this with their buyer protection The buyer does not accept returns and I am struck with a unit that I cannot legally use here. Thank you!!

If the seller does not accept your return in 3 business days, use the 'ask us to step in' option. eBay will either issue the return label or give you a full refund.

Yes - open a not as described return - sellers cannot refuse not as described returns unless they just refund your payment. This is how you activate the money back guarantee.
Go to your purchase history - select return this item. Under reasons select does not match the description, and follow the prompts. In the comments note that the frequency band was not disclosed in the listing.
The seller has 3 business days to send you a return label or a refund. If he doesn't, or says he cannot send a label, go to your case and click 'ask us to step in'.
If the seller is outside of the US and sold this item direct (not using eBay’s international shipping program), he will not be able to issue a return label. You will need to use the ‘ask us to step in option’ - eBay will instruct the seller to send you the funds to pay for the return. He will need your PayPal address to do this.
