Whybis it so hard to actually talk to a agent at eBay

My autistic son ordered items from ebay. He somehow accessed my PayPal account and paid for the item. I've taken care of most but I did return 1 item and was going to return another item but ebay has suspended his account so now the 1 seller will not accept the return because they said they will only return the money to the ebay account that ordered it even though it was my PayPal that paid for it. The other sellers has received the item 3 or 4 days ago but I've received no refund to my PayPal account. Guessing because his ebay account is suspended

You can use the Help & Contact link at the bottom of the page to request a call back from eBay. Use the "Contact us" link and follow the prompts for your issue and you should eventually wind up on a page with a chat option. Choose that, and the last option that appears in the chat window -- use the "See more" option -- should be "Contact an Agent" to request a call-back if you are in North America.

If using the "Contact us" link takes you directly to the chat assistant window, you may have to enter some context dependent cues to get to the call back link.
