Why won't eBay update the tracking?
My item was delivered days ago. I'm not able to update the tracking myself. eBay's "competent" tracking says it's still out for delivery, which it hasn't been for nearly 3 days. How does this get fixed?
So eternally grateful for the lack of customer service this multi-billion dollar company provides. No e-mail, n o phone, no nothing. Just the worst AI c hat bot I've encountered to this date.

The short answer, you cannot update the tracking yourself.
Is the tracking not updated on the carrier's side or just eBay?
I don't know if you will have any success asking the carrier to update it. It sounds like the carrier just didn't scan it as delivered. eBay can't change that.

OP1 month agoIt has been delivered by USPS. The USPS website says it was delivered. eBay is the only one saying it hasn't been delivered.

Did you ship it with eBay labels?
I know this will sound frustrating, but have you logged out and logged back in to see?

OP1 month agoSo, logging out and logging back in worked. I'm stunned. Thank you so much. It befuddles me why I never received a delivery notification like I have with all my other packages, but I digress.
Just to answer your questions for future people's assistance, I did ship it with eBay labels.
To check the status, I went directly from my Seller's Hub. I clicked the tracking number for the item. That popped up eBay's "tracking portal", and I clicked the tracking number once again to head to the USPS website. On the USPS website, it said it had been delivered.

Yes, you use the same process to ship and view labels as I do.
