Why was my Neutral feedback remove?
I received a product that I felt the workmanship was not constructed well, even after I contacted the Seller, he apologized and said it was because it was shipped over 7,000 miles and it was during transit that the box was smashed and that was why, I did not ask for refund. I fixed the cap for my son play but did leave neutral feedback which I felt was fair, and yet the next day my neutral feedback was removed? So, now we can't even leave neutral feedback? What up with that?

< during transit that the box was smashed >
It's the seller's responsibility to pack the item well enough to withstand rough handling during transit, up to being driven over by a Panzer Maus.

OP2 years agoYes, I agree it is the Sellers responsible, but you did not help me any? My question was :"Why was my neutral feedback removed?" I am the buyer and I left neutral feedback because I felt it was my responsible to note that the item was poorly made and workmanship was poor as well , I do not understand your statement. I am well aware that Sellers need to package properly and this Seller did not and more damage was done to the product. Still you did not answer my question.

I didn't see the feedback and any opinion I expressed about the "why" it was removed would be guesswork. You said "it was during transit that the box was smashed and that was why, I did not ask for refund" as though you didn't consider the seller culpable for the damage. I was telling you that a seller is responsible for getting the item to the buyer and that you could/should open a Not As Described claim for a refund. As Steve Martin used to say, Excuuuuse me!

OP2 years agoExcuse me? I wasn't looking for a refund, I needed the item for my son's play I had waited over a month already, I wasn't about to return this item and I was not about to open a "Not as Described" case when is it as described. I hated when buyers use this excuse just to claim a refund, it is so wrong . I am an honest Buyer and Seller and if I did not need the item then I could of open a request- "damaged during transit" which is what happen, this item travel over 7,000 miles, no matter how well an item is packaged sometimes it is out of the Sellers hands, besides it was more about the quality and workmanship of the item on my feedback which I was able to fix and my son was able to use during his play. This Seller was fairly new to eBay and very sincere about the whole incident. Sometimes new comers need our help and understanding too. My question was more about why the neutral feedback removed, if you read the above reply I made yesterday to another comment , you will see all has been resolved. Thank you

Mentor2 years agoIt sounds like you may have left what ebay considers a product review, rather than feedback for the seller. The seller contacted ebay and asked for removal because he felt it was a product review, and ebay agreed, and removed the feedback.

OP2 years agoI actually found out what happen, eBay accidently remove the neutral feedback that I left, ( per Sellers message) it was for another product that I purchased with this seller that I never received, but did not leave feedback because I was refunded. The seller was fairly new to eBay and there was a language bearer and contact me about the situation that this happen during transit for the second purchase, I helped him how to "reply to the feedback" whether positive ,neutral or neg. so other buyers would know this happen during transit and it wasn't his fault. I asked him to send me a revision to feedback after he explained this to me but said he wanted other buyers to know that he would be using a different courier for his items. So he was fine having the neutral feedback for it was done politely. I did not want any refund for I needed the product and was willing to fix. He was very grateful and appreciated. What could of happen is the eBay agent must of misunderstood him because of the language bearer and simply removed neutral feedback...its all good .Seller clarified with me a few days later, thank you for your time.
