Why they falsely give wrong location as In Location in the USA, then you see they are in another country
Why do you eBay lets people give others false locations like pooler Georgia , California, KY, NJ, that is in the USA but then you look at the details of the order then find out it is coming from china or another country ……. I always hit the us only when I buy and 99% of it is in china …..or coming from another country…

OP1 month agoYeah, it just makes me furious because eBay states that you know give their estimated delivery and I ordered some hoses that said that was in New Jersey United States and it’s coming from Wong high or something like that and it’s all a container somewhere in the middle of the ocean who knows when I was supposed to get that

Mentor1 month agoI search US only as well, but that only means the item is in the US (although sometimes it is not). I go one step further. Look at their feedback page and click on About. This will say location: and you will see where the seller is located.

Many US buyers will not purchase if the item location is listed as overseas, so some overseas sellers are tempted to lie about the item location to make a sale. eBay does not necessarily know where the item is shipping from until it is actually shipped, though careful buyers may be able to figure it out before making a purchase.
Probably the best way to deal with sellers that misrepresent item location is to avoid them whenever possible. The "US only" item location filter selects items that are listed as being in the United States; however, as you have seen, not every seller that lists items in the US ships from the US as they should.
Before ordering you should check the estimated delivery dates -- that is a good indication of how far away items actually ship from. Generic shipping options or DHL may be a sign of an international shipment. Also, going to a seller's profile page or feedback page will tell you where the seller's account was registered. Although some overseas sellers do use US warehouses to ship their items (and some registered US-sellers may employ drop-shippers), if a seller is registered overseas, that raises the likelihood of an item shipping from outside the US, particularly for multiple quantity commodity items. Checking seller feedback closely will often reveal if there are problems with long shipping times, canceled orders or other supply chain warning signs, particularly if buyers that encounter problems with drop-shippers leave feedback indicating that.
