Why shipment says deliver when I just sent it?

Has anybody encounter A problem with package that you drop off at the post office and Within an hour, you get an email saying shipment was delivered?

Hi @peeptopthrift Yes. As a buyer I noticed that tracking showed my item 'Delivered' to the seller's state a few hours after being shipped. I contacted the seller, who told me that my package ... along with 70 others they shipped ... was simply mis-scanned. ðŸ˜² In my case, I eventually received my package ... but I noticed that tracking never showed that it was delivered to ME. It always showed 'Delivered' to the first place it reached after leaving the seller's city. I'm not sure whether there's anything you can do to update the tracking ... but I would advise you to contact the post office at their main number: 1-800-275-8777. I would also contact the buyer to reassure them that the post office made a scanning mistake and that you have contacted USPS about the problem.

Sometimes the postal worker will scan an item as delivered instead of received. It will clear up on down the line as it is scanned in transit.

@peeptopthrift It's rare but sometimes the post office has their scanner set wrong, especially when the subs are working. So instead of received it will say delivered. It should straighten itself out at the next scan.
