why send tracking # if it has not been shipped please send tracking when cleared by shipper?
i hate being sent tracking when seller takes 3-4 days to ship i wish ebay could clear this first and not send shipping notifications until received by ups , usps or whatever shipping company ...very frustrating

Mentor4 months agoA message is automatically generated when the label is printed through eBay, because eBay knows exactly when the label is printed.
Unless the package gets an actual acceptance scan -- and not all packages do -- eBay has no idea when the package counts as "shipped".
If you do not want such messages, adjust your Communication Preferences.
