Why is there so much price gouging on eBay?
I would definitely love to shop here on eBay .But it's so much price gouging that it's just runs be away, Items that you can get cheaper at Walmart or the Dollar store or even Amazon at cheaper.And to my knowledge cleaner .I am surprised that the health department hasn't contacted this site about selling used items.Since COVID is still in our atmosphere nothing used should be sold on any site,Even if COVID never existed I personally feel that humidfiers hair curlers and the like that has been used on another person's body that are used and has been used .Needs to be totally eliminated

Mentor3 years agoYou misunderstand the meaning of price gouging. Price gouging refers to charging exorbitant prices for items that are in short supply during an emergency (think of things like bottled water and plywood during a hurricane, face masks, toilet paper, and hand sanitizer during a worldwide epidemic). Sellers can price their items anywhere they like, and buyers can choose to buy or not to buy. That's a free market. No seller is required to price items at what you think they should cost.
As for used clothing, there are rules around that. Most used clothing items can be sold on eBay just as they are sold in flea markets, thrift shops, and on other websites. If you don't want to buy items that someone else has used, then don't buy them.
