why is there no pay immediately with an auction sale?

BUY IT NOW I can set for immediate payment but through auction I have to wait up to 4 days to receive paymentIt doesn't seem right

@panache111 . You can require the buyer to provide a payment prior to making a bid or offer in account settings. If you want to require buyers to provide a payment method before bidding BUT do want to allow the buyer to keep shopping for 7 days then you need to NOT allow invoices on this page> https://www.ebay.com/ship/prf Then the payment method that was provided will be charged one hour after sale. Autopay is when you as a seller require buyers to provide a payment method before making a bid or offer. The setting is in buyer requirements in account settings> https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/buyerrequirements If you require buyers to provide a payment method prior to bidding AND allow combined shipping in your account settings then the buyer may choose to keep bidding for 7 days before paying. This is a change that many auction sellers asked for.
