Why is Shipping cost so high?
Today I listed an item and I got an offer almost immediately, I countered and the item sold, the shipping cost when I first listed the item was very high $ 127.00 so I then changed it to a buyer pay 25.00 for a shipping fee but when I went to purchase the shipping lapel it was 130.00. This seems so high, how can I get this lower since it took 75% of my profit? How do I dispute this?

You have a mistake on the listing for size and weight in the shipping section but on the eBay label flow you can change that to match the weight and exact dimensions of the box the item ships in. I checked the listing but have ZERO clue how big that thing is because you have NO dimensions for the item you are selling, didn't anyone ask you what the dimension were on that piece?????
So, exactly what weight and dimensions are on the box you are shipping that item in???
What state is it shipping to???
You may have selected the Flat rate setting and used $ 25.00 but it might not be enough although I see $ 25 to ship from FL to PA on that sold item.

OP6 months agoThanks the item is 17" X 17" and one inch thick its about 3 pounds unpacked.

What state is it shipping to?
If I were packing the largest box it would go in is 20 x 20 x 4 which is only 1600 cubic inches, well below the 1728 cubic inch threshold that would push it into dimensional weight.
I checked zip codes for your area ... one comes up as invalid on the USPS price calculator ... that would be 33891 so not sure what that is all about. Anyway, I found one that worked and from that zip to mine in PA I see $ 16.15 for USPS Ground Advantage and that is without insurance to cover the higher price on your item.
If I use the same info to ship to Alaska from your location the base price only goes up to $ 24.10.
So, like I said, if you are seeing $ 130 your cost to ship something is wrong on the eBay page when you go to purchase and print your label.
