.1325 is the fee for sports trading cards without a store
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/selling-fees?id=4822
3.12 * .1325 = .41 + .30 = .71
I agree that should be the total.
Can you copy and paste your numbers from the order details?
Here is one of mine, (this is what I am looking for)
What your buyer paid
What you earned

Try this. There may be an easier way, but this should work
Go to transaction list
https://www.ebay.com/mes/transactionlist?sh=true
Paste the order number in the search field
Click the View next to the fees like this
Then you can see the Fee Calculation Details like this

Mentor9 months agoI'm curious as to why you think Hiking Shoes -- even in good condition -- can be mailed via Media Mail ??
Have you sold anything that was shipped via Media Mail and were later charged additional shipping charges by eBay?
If so, that's because the US Postal Service opened your Media Mail package and found that it contained shoes.
Rather than ask your buyer to cough up the postage shortfall, the Postal Service, through eBay, collects the underpayment from you, the seller.
Media Mail is generally for books, DVDs, academic testing materials, etc.
BTW, you cannot successfully protest, to eBay, the amount of the Final Value Fee collected by eBay.

Here are some sample numbers which might be helpful:
Example $20 price + $5.00 shipping + $2.00 Sales Tax = $27 Total paid by Buyer
Final Value fee is charged on the entire amount paid by the buyer, not just the sales price.
You get $20 + $5 = $25 (eBay handles sales tax)
- $4.07 (Selling fees $27 x.1360 = $3.67 + .40 = $4.07 -- 13.60% is the FVF for most categories)
- $5.00 (Shipping whatever the ACTUAL label costs.. could be $4.50 or $15.00)
$15.93 Net to you.
Your "available funds" are a running total, so there may be other fees from other listings and sales intermingled. Each payout can cover multiple transactions.
Here is a help page where you can learn about selling fees:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/selling-fees?id=4822
All of the deductions should be listed here:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/transactions
And you can look at the breakdown here of your payouts here:
https://www.ebay.com/sh/fin/summary
Let me know if you have more questions - I would need to know the category of the item you sold, etc.

OP9 months agoI understand the final value fee is on sale price +shipping + sales tax, which for this sale is 2.00+1.00 shipping, + .12 tax =3.12 x.126=.42, then there is a .30 per item fee for a total of .72. The category is sports cards. I was charged a FVF of .90. I have hundreds more similar to this to sell, or I wouldn't be concerned about such a small amount.
