Why is it taking ebay 30 days to make a pay out
I sent out the itme that I sold was paid for on May 4th and they are still not releasing the funds to my account. The buyer has received the item. Why would anyone want to sell on this platform is it takes a month to get your money!

As an infrequent seller, you are subject to payment holds (usually up to 30 days) which may affect items you sell based on various criteria.

Millions of sellers do because that's what they agreed to when they signed the user agreement (by virtue of buying and/or selling on eBay).

OP4 months agoI sold and shipped another item just a day later to another buyer and got paid within 4 days. So your reasoning does not hold up!

As I wrote in my previous response...

The holds do not necessarily affect all sales. That's not my reasoning, that's eBay policy.
