why is ebay so expensive now?

Way back when, it was 8% for ebay and 5% for paypal. Even with the amalgamation I was estimating 15% fees for using ebay. Now 20% flat.

ebay fees are not a flat 20%. I think you might be confused with Poshmark, which has a flat 20% FVF.

I just realized you are located in Canada. This is ebay.com, the USA site. I have no idea what the FVF are on https://www.ebay.ca
