why is ebay not telling us now if the seller has a reserve price on auctions now
sellers and eaby have got smart to the system on how to rip you off sellers set a reserve price now but when you bid they dont tell you it has a reserve price anymore you think its another bidder but it is actually a reserve price that has been set so you will keep bidding to your max bid this is a way for ebay and the seller to come out on top with more money for both they run you up to your max you think you didnt win next day your buggy will be full of unwated items you thought you didnt win i have proff with pic's,,,, ebay has been aware of this and lets it go on the fair trade needs to get involved ebays is in on this con,,,

·1 year ago"Reserve not met" is displayed on the Listing Page (the one with the description and the Place Bid button that actually works as opposed to the ones on other pages that send you to the Listing Page) below the price (current bid) display if nobody has bid that high. It does not show "Reserve met" if the reserve has been met either there or anywhere else.
"Reserve not met" is not shown on the search results for active listings (it is shown on the results for completed listings only), since the seller is paying a high fee for the Reserve and the clickthroughs are part of what s/he is paying for. It is not shown on the Bid History Page (used to be years ago but got lost in a reformat). I don't know whether there would be an indication on your My eBay: Bids/Offers: Bids (since I almost never bid on auctions with a Reserve, or more than a few seconds before the end, so don't have time to check there).
It's possible they messed up another reformat of the Listing Page. What exact type of "proof" are you considering sufficient to prove the ABSENCE of the designation on a listing at the same time as proof that it did have a Reserve Price?
