Why is eBay not cracking down on clearly false advertising?

No such thing is offered on eBay and almost no where else as genuine Moissanite is thousands of times more rare than diamonds and has never been found larger than a few millimeters. 4.1 mm to be exact. And, has never been found clear. So every one on eBay is manufactured in China for a few pennies out of waste carborundum from the manufacture of sintered grinding wheels.

Mentor3 years agoWhat seems obvious to you may not seem so obvious to someone else with no particular knowledge of Moissanite.
There are over a billions listings on eBay; no one person is an expert in all of them. No single person is able to separate all the claims about items into those that are true and those that are false.
eBay relies on reports from many individual users to identify potential problems with listings.
Every listing has a "Report item" link to alert eBay to policy violation or fraud suspicions. If eBay receives enough independent reports, eBay may take action regarding a particular listing.
