Mentor1 year agoWhat is the seller's handling time? Maybe they are rural and only go to the post office every other day. If they ship within their handling time, nothing is wrong. Not everyone ships same day.

It doesn't matter when the seller creates his shipping label - he is required to ship within his stated handling time. If he doesn't, he receives a defect on his seller metrics. The seller's handling time is built into the estimated delivery date shown in your Purchase History.

Sellers are required to ship their item within their handling time. The carriers (USPS,UPS & FedEx) allow labels to be purchased a few days in advance of the actual ship date. This is the same whether the seller buys their labels through eBay or other on-line sites.
Comparing individual eBay sellers to a large warehouse operation is impossible. I have purchased from may different sites that send me a tracking number several days before the package is actually given to the carrier.
