Why is eBay blocking messages containing a potential buyers info

Question

I see fabrics and very often people ask for samples so they know if the fabric will be what they are looking for. Recently no one is able to send me their info (name & address) as eBay is rejecting their messages. How am I able to still send samples if they have now blocked people from doing this?

Buyers and Sellers have always been blocked from sharing personal information via eBay messaging. Doing so violates eBay policy for trying to sell off eBay. That is a very serious policy violation. EBay has been improving eBay messaging and may have put stronger filters in place to enforce this policy.
