Why is Ebay Affraid to To Provide A Customer Service Phone Number ?
Could someone please tell my why Ebay is afraid to post a standard customer service phone number ? Are they trying to save money and not even pay humans the minimum wage for customer service call workers all in a effort to increase profit margins and shave holder dividends ? I understand that the new AI technology is going to save the world and can do everything faster and better than any human being could and never makes a mistake. However, if I don't receive a call from a human being at Ebay to discuss a theft and or fraud case involving my customer account, I will surely cancel my Ebay account within two business days of this message. Thank you Ebay for making a straightforward simply task ...absolutely impossible !! I sure don't want to bankrupt Ebay by insisting that provide real live human being to handle it's customer service functions !!

eBay doesn’t provide a phone number to Customer Service for the same reason Amazon doesn’t: There is none.
The only way to reach eBay is by requesting a callback using Help & Contact OR by contacting them on social media.

OP2 years agoAgain...the question arises....Why Is There None ???? Surely the people who supposedly work in Ebay Customer service, are provided with a working phone ...don't you think ?? 😉 It really doesn't matter to me me anymore, I've already canceled my Ebay account. I will take my business to a company that respects it's customers enough to to provide a reasonable customer service function. I hope Ebay's AI based customer service system bankrupts the company ! ! Otherwise, have a great day 😉

If you go to Help & Contact, you can request a callback and a Customer Service rep will give you a call.
