Why have they removed the search categories from the top of item pages?
There used to be a procession of categories at the top such as: eBay Motors, Vehicles, Cars and Trucks, Chevrolet, Impala.... I really miss this feature, and don't see any reason it's not there. In general, I am finding that it is getting much more difficult to search specific items,
There are often several categories in which an item could be placed and often the search returns too many items which have nothing in common with what is being searched. I've been on eBay almost daily since 1997 and I just wish they would leave what works alone.
BTW: why isn't there a forum we could search?

Mentor1 year agoOnly eBay knows the reason for the change; others can only speculate.
The category is now displayed in the item-specifics of the listing, as well as the category links being shown at the bottom of the page if one can scroll past all the sponsored listings above it.
