Why has it changed to dollars when I’m in the uk?
Hello, can anyone help. I’ve been an eBay seller for many years, but for some reason this problem has flummoxed me.
I was listing a new item and the format looked all changed and then I noticed it showed my item in dollars not the English pound. I thought it was because I started the listing whilst in eBay.com so started it again but the same thing happened. Tried to carry on and ignore it as I couldn’t seem to contact anyone to help and go through the whole different posting malarkey and see if it changed. It didn’t, so I’ve a listing that’s in dollars!! Anyone have this issue and can help me change some setting I’ve accidentally clicked on??

You are currently signed in to ebay.com where prices are shown in dollars.
Sign out here and sign back in to ebay.co.uk to see prices in pounds.
Make sure you are not following any ebay.com links or using any ebay.com bookmarks. Be careful not to use an ebay.com listing to "sell similar". If you use your browser's autocomplete feature to enter page addresses, clear your recent browser history to prevent it from suggesting ebay.com pages you have recently visited.
If using a selling link on a UK page is sending you to ebay.com, try this UK Seller Hub link instead:

OP2 years agoAh Thankyou so much for taking the trouble to answer this message in detail. I hadn’t thought of signing out, although had thought somehow I’d written the listing in .com.
I will have a go later today and fingers crossed I’ll be off again lol..
