Because you're on the USA site now. Sometimes, searching somehow causes your account to cross the pond.
Here's how to get back:
• Sign out of your USA session of eBay (domain ends with .com)
• Click the large, colorful ebay logo at the top left of your computer screen
• Clicking that logo takes you to the Home page, scroll to the bottom of the Home page
• Find the national flag at the bottom right corner and hover your cursor over it
• A box full of flags will open ... click the Union Jack in that box (domain ends with .co.uk)
