Why āfunds on holdā???
Recently I had a sale which put āfunds on holdā? Without a doubt I googled and got confused then called eBay Agent she couldnāt give me a clear explanation, either! Still deeply confused: can anyone kindly explain that āpolicy ā to me, please? Iām a eBayer since 2007 with 100% feedback, starting selling in 2022 ( ya, post Covid ). Thanks a lot!

There are a couple of steps the money goes through.Ā
- Processing
- Payment Holds (if any)
- Payout, which happens automatically after any holds.
Try the "Check Payment Holds" button here. It may have more specific details https://www.ebay.com/help/action?topicid=4155
High priced items or unusual selling patterns may lead to transaction holds for up to 30 days.

I know it's upsetting when you are counting on that money.
I don't think it's anything personal to your account. eBay seems to be doing payment holds for more sellers right now. I don't know why.
Your money will be released.
