Why eBay makes things so complicated?
Summary: brin27 shared their frustration about receiving a damaged order from a seller while being overseas. Despite attempts to resolve the issue directly with the seller, assistance wasn't forthcoming, leading them to initiate a return order through eBay. However, complications arose with using the return label due to their location, and the case was closed without an option to appeal. The participant is seeking contact information to resolve the issue and recover nearly $600.
I placed an order and received it damaged, I'm located overseas, tried to fix issue with seller but he was't willing to help, so I opened a return order for damaged order, I received one of the return labels from eBay but I was't able to use it, since I'm overseas. I tried to update the tracking but I never got the option to do it, now they closed the case and is not giving me the option to appeal cause it was closed. I'm not able to get a call because of same issue I'm overseas and my country is not listed in the countries eBay calls. Does any one has an email or direct number I can call? Its almost $600 I'm not getting refunded.

Mentor2 weeks agoSince sellers cannot send a return label that is good in foreign countries, what they should do is send enough money to the buyer, via Paypal, in order to purchase a shipping label, if they want the item back.
Since ebay closed the case, what you can do is go to your credit card issuer and file a chargeback. Most credit card companies will accept a chargeback within 180 days of the transaction.
