why ebay does not make it easy to block a seller? either I block the seller's message which came from @ebay as spam where I will not see any messages from Ebay or Ebay should make it easy for us to block sellers. In this case, after searching for hours, I finally was able to find the page where I added the seller ID to block, but it did not work. So, the final choice was blocking all Ebay emails. Very much all Ebay messages will be blocked as spams. When ebay make it easy and correctly introducing a way to block a seller, I can un-spam Ebay messages. I just wanted to send this message to Ebay that whatever the reason for not allowing customers to block sellers in an easier correct way is not working because at the end of this, all Ebay messages will be blocked as spam and losing our business.

Mentor2 years ago@smnetworks It could wind up being a simple work around ... and there are no fees on the entry level NON store Selling account until something Sells ... if you get the account set up to sell and need help working on the Blocked list feel free to post openly with your question(s) or Private message me and I'll help you out.

It seems that this topic has come up a lot recently and while Sellers enjoy the Block feature that can be applied to ANY member (so that ALL communication from other blocked members are blocked) Buyers can't do that.
I can tell you this that if enough Buyers complained eBay would most likely implement a change. However, that will not happen overnight. So if your desire is to have the feature to block other members (Buyers OR Sellers) in eBay messaging then you could set your account up to sell too just so you can use the Block feature.
You might throw a half dozen "token" listings up for sale with no real intention of them selling but you would still be able to use the Block feature.

Mentor2 years agoIf you receive a message from a user, you can block that user from sending messages from the message page:
If the message is from eBay, on the other hand, adjust your Communication Preferences to exclude those types of messages you do not wish to receive.

If you have the seller set as one of your Saved Sellers, be sure you are not subscribed to a newsletter, or else unsave that seller.
