Why don't a lot of buyers leave feedback when the sale is positive?

I have sold 34 items over the past few weeks but only 10 people took the time to give feedback. Should ebay compel buyers to leave feedback?

Leaving feedback is OPTIONAL.

Then I guess feedback is optional for the seller to provides also.

You are correct.

I view leaving feedback as a personal choice. I choose to leave it without basing it on receiving reciprocal feedback.
