The eBay app now requires a newer operating system; I believe Android 11 or newer.

If you are unable to upgrade your operating system, you should still be able to use a browser to go to ebay.co.uk and reach eBay that way. If eBay browser links are opening automatically in the app, you may need to delete the eBay app or change your settings so that does not happen.
