Why Does ebay support scammers

Question

I was dumb and bought a booster box from [Removed by Moderator] , I should of know something was fishy I didn't think anything of it. After the 30 day window is up I check over some of his reviews and sure enough he's sending the same fake junk to others. How does eBay let this seller get away with it and not close down the account or help with refunds?

They do help with refunds if you open a case within 30 days.

I always look at a sellers feedback before I make a purchase.

eBay isn't going to close an account just based on feedback. The buyers have to also be proactive and open cases in time.
