Why does ebay keep changing shipping information?
When I list an item, I have packaging ready to go. I will put in the information so the shipping charge is accurate, then if something sells, the shipping information is different. Examples:
Recent sale...the box is 4 x 4 x 4 and weighs 14 oz. When I went to print the shipping label, it says 8 x 4 x 4 and 1 lb.
Another few examples. I put in 9 lbs for a package weight and when I print the label, it says 5 lbs. I did an almost identical item, with the exact same box and weight and this time when I print the label, it said 12 lbs. I had another one that I put in 30 lbs in the shipping info and when I printed the label it said 21 lbs. These are all very recent and I sure hope I don't get charged extra because ebay seems to be magically changing information at random.

Mentor1 year ago@frylock69 That is very odd. What listing tool are you using? APP or computer?
If on a computer are you using the Advanced Listing Tool in Seller Hub or the Quick Lister?
Always double check the package size and weight BEFORE you print the label. If you are not using the Advanced Shipping label page then select switch to advanced on the upper right of the label page.
