Why does Ebay charge seller for shipping?
Why do they include shipping with the net profit for items sold?
If I sell an item for 10.00 and buyer pays shipping 6.00 then eBay says my total is 16.00
they take out almost 5.00 leaving the seller to basically pay for the shipping themselves.
They should only charge us for the item sale price, not including shipping in the sale price.
Will this ever change? Or should I just raise the price of my items to add shipping myself and say free shipping?

·2 years agoLike other payment processors, their fee's are based on the total amount the buyer pays.
It doesn't matter if you do $15 and free shipping or $10 for item and $5 for shipping, your fee's will be the same.
