Why does Ebay and Etsy allow sellers to say " sterling silver 925" when it IS NOT!! It is plated!!

It is ABSOLUTELY WRONG and a LIE to say sterling silver is 925 sterling silver when the item IS PLATED.

925 means THE WHOLE PIECE IS 9.25% STERLING SILVER....NOT PLATED alloy or copper or what ever!!! It should be banned and the sellers removed or fined......STATE WHAT YOU ARE SELLING as what it is!!!!

@1wolf2dog eBay can not inspect a sellers items this is why they have the eBay Money Back Guarantee. The return case also goes on the sellers record. If they don't refund willingly after a case is filed it hurts the sellers account even more.

The eBay Money Back Guarantee over rules the sellers return policy. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to file a not as described return request for most categories AND 3 days for Trading Cards.

Here's what you need to do:

Open a return with the reason doesn't match description or photos.
