Why does ebay allow/tolerate shill bidding?
Why does ebay tolerate and allow shill bidding? This auction 157331443299 is an obvious example of shill bidding to inflate the price: https://www.ebay.com/bfl/viewbids/157331443299?item=157331443299&rt=nc&_trksid=p4429486.m145235.l2565. Only two bidders bid more than $59 and the auction closed at $182.50. Each bidder bid consecutively, and on separate days. There are ten seperate bids on this auction from a single "buyer" within one second three days before the auction ends?

Mentor10 months agoWhich bidder do you suspect of being a shill bidder? The one with 7% bidding activity with that seller, or the one with 4% bidding activity? Or one of the other bidders that did not figure in the outcome at all?
What is your reasoning, exactly?
Just because you do not understand why someone bid the way they did does not make them a shill bidder, and you have given no reason to believe that either of those bidders is associated with the seller.
