Why does Ebay allow buyers not to pay and then not report this on their feedback rating
I've been having many Chinese buyers win my auctions and then not pay. Why does Ebay act like they are reporting this, but then when I go back to the buyers name, nothing shows up on their feedback rating?

Neither buyers’ nonpayment strikes not sellers’ defects are shown publicly.

Mentor3 years agoAre you canceling for nonpayment after four days? If so, the buyer receives a nonpayment strike. Two such strikes within a year and sellers can preemptively block the account from making bids or purchases, if the seller sets Buyer Requirements strictly.

eBay does not display nonpayment strikes in the buyer's feedback; the blocking is done automatically when the buyer tries to bid or buy. Check your Buyer Requirements Activity Log to see this.

If you do not wait and cancel for nonpayment, the buyer does not receive a strike.
You can avoid nonpayment by listing for a fixed price with immediate payment required and by not making or accepting offers.
