Why does a cancelled auction still appear as sold & amount of cancelled auction counts toward limit
We had a auction which was won by a buyer. The buyer never paid for the item and ignored all messages.
About almost 2 months of being ignored, I cancelled the auction. The auction appears as "cancelled" but still appears as "sold" in the My eBay area. the amount of that cancelled auction also has been added to my monthly "sold" amount.
Is there a way to remove this cancelled auction from appearing as "sold"?

OP2 years agoHi Inceptions.
In looking at my "Sold Items" list, I don't see an "Archive" option in the dropdown:
Also, when looking at the cancelled auction, I don't see an "Archive" option there either.
See above images. Am I looking in the areas?

The item WAS sold, it just wasn't paid for. It will remain in your sold item total. For tax purposes, you indicate your total sales and refunds come out of the total (as well as your other expenses) on a different line item.
If you don't want to look at the transaction in your Sold Items list, you can use the Archive option found in the dropdown next to the order in the list.
