WHY DO THEY HOLD MY MONEY TIL ITEM RECEIVED ??
What is gong on with ebay and paypal sold something after a long time with no sales and couldnt find the money finally after reading and searching I found out paypal holds your money til the customer receives the package ?? When did this stupid move start ? I just closed out my account dont do business like that , its crazy you have to pay shipping and wait for your money ?? oh no not me !! after 30 years on ebay and over 10000 positive feed backs ??

You sold one $ 10.99 item in the last 90 days so you are considered a low activity selling account and your funds can be held for up to 31 days. Since your account was dormant for a while eBay has security measures in place because dormant accounts have gotten hacked. Transaction holds | eBay
If you still think PayPal has the proceeds from your eBay sales then it has been a very long time since you sold, they did away with PayPal and rolled out their Managed Payments back in 2019. If you close your account I assume you have found this Help page, it will not close the account until all transactions are completed. Closing your account | eBay
