why do i have to verify I'm a human every four edits I make to my cart.
I've had this account for a long time, so over the years my carts saved later has built up a bunch of items that I'm no longer interested in. So i began to purge my saved later, but ebay keeps forgetting I'm human every four items I remove from my cart. and have to click on their AI generated **bleep**. why, why are they dumb

Are you using a VPN, hotspot or Starlink network? Any of those can cause issues.
If not, perhaps your browser is having problems retaining or updating your eBay cookies.
Try using a different browser to see if that makes any difference.
Or try emptying your cart using the eBay app; that can be much faster than waiting for a browser to reload the page after every item is removed.
