Why do I have to hace a payment option listed on my ebay account?
I bought 4 different items from the same seller in less than 1 hour. I asked he combine shipping . He tells me he can't because ebay looks at it as 4 different transactions because I had a payment option in place that paid as soon as the auction ended. Costing me $40.00 dollars in shipping for less than 20 actual cost. That's B.S . So I removed the payment option, now, I can't increase my bid on items I'm bidding on. Until I put a payment option on my ebay account . FYI This is a second ebay account because my original account ( according to ebay) was blocked by a seller I buy from a lot. They tell me I'm not blocked, to create another account , I did and have made 8 purchases in the last 2 months from the seller ebay tells me has blocked me. I've never had to have a payment option attached to my ebay account for the last 15 years. What the h*ll is going on. And HOW DO YOU CONTACT A PERSON AT EBAY???????

Mentor2 years agoebay wants to decrease the number of unpaid transactions, so they have required a payment option when a buyer makes an Offer, and now they have added Auctions as well. If you know you will be making offers/bids on several listings from the same seller, you can use the CONTACT SELLER link and ask that they remove the requirement of having buyers specify a payment method when offers/bids are made. The default is to include this requirement, unknown to sellers.
