Why did the seller keep $1 of my refund for an item that never arrived?
Hi there,
I bought an item and was sent a tracking number that said it arrived, but I have a doorbell camera and there was no delivery made. When I contacted the seller, they said it was returned to them (I'm suspicious that it was never sent). They gave me a refund, but retained $1.10. I'm not concerned about getting the dollar back, I'm just curious why they would keep the dollar. Is it to keep the sale on the books? It seems like they are working the system somehow, but I can't figure out what is going on.
