Why did the option to send offer to buyers disappear from BIN item with 200+views and 20+ watchers?
Hi,
Listed an item 2.5 weeks ago which currently has 200+ views and 20+ watchers right now. It's BIN and buyers can make offers. About a week after posting the item I sent an offer which went out to 14 prospective buyers. No sale made, and a few days ago on Tuesday i looked at sending an offer out, and found that it would go out to about 12 prospective buyers. On Wednesday when i went to send offers for the item ebay no longer offered me that option. Can anyone explain why this happened?
Thanks

OP4 months agoThank you for the reply. I remain confused why on Tuesday i could've sent 12 offers (but didn't) and then by Wednesday I became unable to do so. I didn't lose 12 watchers and there hadn't been anybody with it in their cart the whole time afaik. Thanks for the link and the suggestion about dropping the price.

Mentor4 months ago@notastyle I stopped using the Send offer eligible feature about 2 years ago but I recall times when I would log in and be able to send offers on like 80 items so I would send some out ... then shortly after not be able to send them out on as many. At the time I read a little bit about it but eventually just stopped using it, the results weren't what I had expected.

Yes, you can read about Sending offers to interested Buyers on this page: Adding Best Offer to your listing and sending offers to buyers | eBay
That section explains
There might be some other limits eBay uses to limit the number of unfruitful offers sent on any one listing that they don't publish.
I suggest that whatever "offered" price you were sending just drop the price to that amount and see if the item sells.
