Why did my item sell for the beginning bid?
Hi, I listed an item for 850.00 and one day later was offered 1,200.00. I suggested that he bid at auction and thanked him. I had 175 looks and 31 people watching it. I watched my auction up until it closed and received 0 bids then I saw that someone bought it for the beginning bid of of 850.00. Does this seem strange to anyone else? I feel like cancelling the auction If something funny is going on. Thoughts please. Thanks!

·2 years agoYour starting bid was $850 and you had one bidder so the item sold for $850. This is perfectly normal.
Even if he had bid 1200 because there were no other bidder the bid amount didn't go up.
