why did I get a 1099k when i didn't sell that much?
Why did Ebay send me a 1099k when I sold less than 2000.00 worth of stuff, and Do I have to put it on my taxes even tho it's less than 20,000.00?
I live in Maryland.
Thanks,
Susan

If your state requires a 1099-K at a lower level, you will get a 1099-k
Maryland requires a 1099-k at $600 in sales

Your 1099-k for your sales will be here if it is issued (before Feb 1)

Here is a new 1099-K Guide. It shows how all the numbers are generated:

Some states with lower level 1099-k requirements
AR $2,500+ gross sales
NJ $1,000+ gross sales
IL $1,000+ gross sales and 4 transactions
DC, MA, MD, MS, VA, VT $600+ gross sales
