Why did ebay charge me a 16% transaction fee??
I was recently charged a 16% transaction fee, this seems really high. I also don't see any reference to any transaction fees over 15%. https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/selling-fees?id=4822

OP7 months agoOkay, it turns out it was 13.6% from the Consumer Electronics category PLUS the Final Value Fee. Together it came out to 16% of the listing price.

Mentor7 months ago@phoenixred2002. You had a promoted listing fee of 6.36
Also remember that eBay fees are charged on the total the buyer pays : item price +Shipping +Sales Tax that is charged by the buyers state.
