Why can't I bid or buy?
I have been unable to select/examine/enlarge photos posted by sellers for items I am interested in. I also cannot bid or buy or save listings to my cart (a blue box appears around these areas). This has lasted since Thursday (4/25) evening with the exception of a window where everything worked Friday for a couple of hours. I have not received a notice that my account is restricted (nor have I done anything to deserve one). I've never encountered this before. Any suggestions? Thank you.

Mentor2 years agoWhat operating system version are you using? Many mac users with OS 10 versions seem to have problems lately, along with some OS 11 users if they cannot install the latest version of a popular browser.
See if you can bid or buy using a different device, such as a phone.

OP2 years agoThank you for your response. I'm on OS 11.6. However, shortly after posting my message, after two days I was again able to navigate ebay normally (maybe Big eBrother is watching?!). I'll see if it continues to work or goes back off again. I see a few others have posted similar issues. Thanks again for taking time to respond and good luck to you!

OP2 years agoWell, I spoke too soon. Once again, I can't view/enlarge photos, place bids, save to cart, etc. It works sporadically, then goes away. I see several other folks having the same problem. Something needs to be fixed here! (My info is all updated, no restrictions on my account...)
