Why are they forcing me to add my PRIVATE BANK ACCOUNT?
It's been years since I sold anything on ebay. I'm not a business. I'm a private person who wants to end clutter in my home. I thought it would be a good way to empty the clutter from my home but I guess I was wrong.
I've always used PayPal to receive payments when I sold something. It's bad enough they want my SS#, but also my private bank account, both of which are ripe for scams and fraud. Now I can't get paid if I sell something unless I give those two items? Very disappointed.

Mentor7 months agoThey need the bank account to pay you for your sales.
If you do not add it, you won't get paid.
Start getting paid on eBay | eBay

OP7 months agoI added and substracted info to my post. I guess I'll delete my listing and forget about selling on ebay. I refuse to give either of those private items.

Mentor7 months agoYes, it is best to end your listing if you no longer want to sell on eBay. All sellers have to provide a checking account to get paid.

You will run into the same issue trying to sell on most other viable online sales venues.

OP7 months agoThen I'll just burn the fishing lures I had planned on selling. It used to be so easy to sell on ebay. It's now so complicated., so takes forever to list one item.
