Why are sellers not all held to the same standard?
Summary: cheetas expressed frustration with sellers who manipulate auction bids and then relist items shortly after. This has occurred over 30 times, particularly with certain sellers, leading to the participant questioning eBay's lack of action on this issue. Attempts to query such sellers have resulted in being blocked from bidding, and complaints to eBay have gone unanswered.
How is it that sellers can auction something, bid it up themselves a the last minute, then repost the item the next day. If it happened once, I am a sore loser, if it happened twice I should pay better attention to alerts, it has happen over 30 times that I can show proof of. Absolute last minute bid, listing shows sold, then item reappears for auction or sale within 24-36 hrs.
Why does Ebay not do anything about this?
This has happened to me repeatedly with Chinese crystal sellers and when you ask them [what] is going on, they block you from bidding. I have complained to Ebay and their answer is.....(I still haven't receive on)

Mentor6 days agoSellers cannot bid on their own items, but that doesn't prevent friends from doing so. Also, perhaps the high bidder cancelled, so that is why the seller relisted, or the seller has multiples of the item, and is using the same photos.
