why am I, the seller, paying more than the buyer?
I sold an item and I was charged almost a $1 more than the buyer even though dimensions and weight were actually slightly higher than actual. There has been a shift in the last few months with this. more times than not my shipping cost has been a dollar or two less than what the buyer paid but never over unless I made a mistake in measurements. Now it seems that the buyer is paying less... what has changed with ebay?

Mentor1 year ago@cwugrad02. This can happen when there's a postal service price increase
The buyer pays before the price change and you buy a label after a price change.
