Why Am I charged a Final Value Fee On The Shipping on top of the sold item?
So I sold something for $2.00 and I get it pay a final value on it...But then On top Of It I was charged on the $5.99 shipping as part of my Final Value Fee! I also bought the shipping label thru ebay that I was charged a Final Value Fee On Also!...... and to top it off they only set the shipping to the Buyer at $5.69...I don't know if did it on a few other items I also sold but If So I Am Done As Selling On EBAY!!

Mentor1 week agoYou've sold more than 1100 items over the course of your eBay "career."
Generally, eBay does not "set" the shipping price on any listing.
Especially not for somebody who has sold more than 1100 items -- like you.
We eBay Community Mentors do not have the ability to look at your shipping policy, if any. We can't see if you set a flat rate shipping price or a calculated shipping price.
eBay's calculated shipping system works very well -- but only when when the seller enters accurate package weight and dimensions when he is creating the listing.
Even in eBay's current/new program of managed shipping, sellers are expected to enter true, correct, and accurate package weights and size dimensions when creating their listing(s).
Granted, however, with rising prices of diesel fuel and gasoline, the cost of Every Thing is going up, including USPS shipping/mailing prices. If you did use calculated shipping, it's possible that you may have been caught in one of this year's USPS price rises.

OP1 week agoNo I Haven't...I Bought perhaps that much but Sold Very Few and Only just Noticed this when I Sold a $2.00 Item and got 35 Cents since I also had to pay a fee in the shipping! I since took Off any of my listed items as Pickup Only! ! I won't offer shipping any longer!

eBay processes your buyer's entire payment, not just the part of the payment for the item. This is nothing new. You've been paying a final value fee on shipping since 2011.
You agree to this each time you list an item.
