why am I being jammed up over item specifics when all I'm doing is a price increase.
Summary: rathmik expressed frustration with a platform's update preventing them from editing prices on items, specifically due to new requirements about the country of origin and standardized sizing. lisa5768 explained that the platform has implemented changes requiring compliance with new sizing standards and marks odd sizes as juniors, not plus sizes. rathmik criticized these changes, stating that their customers don't care about such details and expressing dissatisfaction with the platform's management approach.
Went to bulk edit my prices on all items. The Cruel Girl Jeans would not update the price. Instead it started complaining about county of origin (on those jeans NO ONE CARES, they are buying a brand name, not where its made) and then it wanted to argue about what is a plus size and what isn't. From what I'm told by those I suspect would know is, anything above a 14 is a plus size. So it is possible for a 17 to be a plus, but when I list it as a Plus 17 the system wont take it. And if I list it as 17 it shows as a junior.
How about letting ME mark what it is since it is MY store, isn't it?

eBay made changes to the sizing options for clothing and is now using standardized sizing. Sellers need to revise sizing to comply. They also require the country of origin as well so when you revise a listing you will need to comply with the new requirements. Revising a price is revising a listing.
As to your size 17 jeans. While yes generally over 14 is considered plus size the new sizing no longer allows that to be part of the size. For women's clothing even sizes are womens and odd size are juniors. That is why your 17 is a juniors size.

OP1 month agoEbay spends too much time worrying about garbage NO ONE ELSE is worried about at all. Country of Origin....LMAO. NOT ONE SINGLE CUSTOMER HAS EVER ASKED ME ABOUT THE COUNTRY OF ORIGIN. NOT ONE!
And now that Ebay has become "Mr. Micromanager" I'm really not feeling ebay anymore. All the profit goes to shipping, taxes, expenses and you're left sucking on a rock.
Ebays time with me is limited.

OP1 month agoSo NOW ebay gets to determine what reality is???
I don't think so. I'm about done with ebay nonsense.

Keep playing ebay. There are other sites.
