why am I being charged with 4 equal payments on eBay commerce?
I bought an item on eBay and paid via PayPal, however, I was offered four equal installments to pay but when I checked my bank statement, the whole amount was deducted directly; and, in addition, I am informed I also owe 4 additional installments of over $60. It doesn't make sense since I thought I was having the advantage of paying the total cost of the item over four months in equal installments with no additional charges except for the cost of the item which, of course, included the shipping and tax. How can I remove the four installments?
