Why am I being charged for a refund after not getting the money. I was charged $225 for a item I sold but the buyer said it didn’t fit the description so they refunded but my money was on hold at the time and eBay charged me $225 and had been taking money but it says there’s no money on hold meaning I was charged $225 for no reason and is making me go into the hole in my bank account

Mentor5 months agoYou would have been notified that the buyer filed a Return Request in order for you to respond to the request by approving the return, providing a return shipping label and refund when you received the returned item. If you did not cooperate with the buyer's return request, the buyer was able to ask Ebay to step in to help them and Ebay provided the buyer with the refund, with the funds coming from your account.
